I've been facilitating distance integrative healthcare sessions for both people and animals all over the world for 15 years. And one of the things I love is the ability to connect simply, privately and securely online in my private Zoom meeting room.
Here are the step by step instructions below
1. You will have received by email from our office the zoom link that will connect you with Jacquie for the session. To avoid it going to junk make sure you have this email in your email contacts info@jacquiemcintyre.com This usually comes to you on the morning of your appointment but can arrive earlier.
2. Click on the Zoom link you have been provided with (it will look something like this: https://zoom.us/j/552990431)
OR go to www.zoom.us and click Join a Meeting. You can then insert the link you have been provided in the email.
3. If this is your first time using Zoom, when you click the link it will prompt you to download the application which can be used on Computer, tablet and phones. It's very important that when it's setting up that you say yes to allowing Zoom to use your microphone and camera. It's how we will see and hear each other. IF you say no, it will cause issues with us being able to connect, and your appointment may have to be rescheduled.
4. You can open the link as many times as you like in the lead up to the appointment, if your wanting to test your equipment. Please make sure your volume is on (not down or muted) and your camera is working.
5. Once you have download Zoom it's there for you to use for all future appointments with Jacquie and with anyone else who sends you a zoom link and you use it with. Oh and it's free for you to use it like this.
If joining from a mobile Device
If you are joining from a mobile device (Android smartphone/tablet, Apple iPhone/iPad) then it will simply prompt you to download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app from the App/Play Store.
Just before entering the meeting you will be prompted to enter a display name. This name is simply to identify you in the meeting
When in the zoom room with Jacquie there are options to use the chat box, share links using the chat option and receive them from Jacquie should the need arise. You can also mute and turn off your camera should it be needed.
